Trakker is operated by Ravenwire Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Trakker platform. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and role (e.g., handler, admin) provided at registration.
• K9 & operational data: Training records, deployment logs, certifications, evaluations, photos, and GPS/GPX tracks that you voluntarily enter into the platform.
• Billing information: Subscription plan and payment status. Full payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: Log data such as pages visited, actions taken, device type, and IP address, used to maintain and improve the Service.
• Communications: Any emails or messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send important account and service notifications (e.g., billing receipts, password resets).
• To respond to support requests and improve user experience.
• To monitor for abuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third-party marketers.

4. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or K9 operational data to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as described in Section 5 (Service Providers) below. Your operational records are yours — we will never share them with other agencies, law enforcement entities, or commercial partners without your permission.

5. Service Providers

We work with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers who process data solely on our behalf and under our instruction:

• Stripe — Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store full card numbers.
• Base44 — Cloud hosting and database infrastructure for the platform.
• Email delivery services — Used only for transactional emails (receipts, notifications).

These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we will retain your data for up to 90 days before deletion, giving you an opportunity to export records. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at support@ravenwiretech.com.

8. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to keep you logged in and to save your preferences. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies from third parties.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@ravenwiretech.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Trakker is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
